Practical information:

The café by the reception offers food and drinks – and is fully licensed. Please note that there is no fridge or cooking facilities in the tent. Feel free to bring an electric cooler (standard socket) and anything you may need for simple cooking. Shared toilet and dishwashing facilities are 1–2 minutes away. Shower approx. 5 minutes away. Outside the glamping tent, you’ll find a charcoal grill, and there is electricity inside. Shower towels are included.

Seabreeze light – located slightly higher up on the island, with a great view of the Oslofjord.

Glamping Cliffhanger

A perfect blend of comfort, sunshine, views, and luxury on the cliffside – ideal for couples, families, or friends seeking something truly unique. All prices include breakfast.

All glamping tents feature hotel-quality Jensen mattresses with made-up beds – like a hotel room, but in the heart of nature.

The café by the reception offers food and drinks – and is fully licensed. Please note that there is no fridge or cooking facilities in the tent. Feel free to bring an electric cooler (standard socket) and anything you may need for simple cooking. Shared toilets, showers, and dishwashing facilities are about 2 minutes away. Outside the glamping tent, you'll find a charcoal grill, and there is electricity inside. Shower towels are included.

The 'Cliffhanger' glamping tents are divided into categories based on location and configuration.

Cliffhanger small – sea view and sun from morning to evening, close to the cliff edge. Also available on the right side – with a spectacular location near the cliff. Fantastic views! Note: the location may be less suitable for small children.

Cliffhanger small 🐕🐾 – tents where you can bring your pet! These tents are in the same area as Cliffhanger, with equally great location and views.

Cliffhanger medium – sea view and sun all day. Located further from the cliff edge, but still with fantastic views from the height. Positioned on the right side as you walk out onto the island. These tents are suitable for groups of friends or couples traveling together, with space for 4 people.

Cliffhanger family – sea view and sun all day. Safe distance from the cliff edge, yet with stunning views from the height. Located on the right side of the island. These are our largest tents – perfect for families or groups of friends, with beautiful views of the fjord.

Glamping Sunshine hill

Sunshine late into the evening and a beautiful glimpse of the sea. A perfect blend of comfort, sun, views, and luxury – ideal for couples, families, or friends looking for something extra. The area is very child-friendly, sheltered, and catches a lot of heat.

Here you live closer to other campers, but with an excellent sea view and your own outdoor space. The glamping tents are located on the left side of the island as you head outwards, facing southwest.

All glamping tents feature Jensen mattresses of hotel quality – like a hotel room, but in the heart of nature.

Please note that there is no refrigerator or cooking facilities in the tent. Feel free to bring an electric cooler (standard socket) and anything else you may need for simple meal preparation.

Toilets, showers, and dishwashing facilities are about 2 minutes away. The café by the reception offers food and drinks – and is fully licensed. Outside the glamping tent, you’ll find a charcoal grill, and there is access to electricity inside.

Glamping Basic – Rent an Unfurnished Tent for 6

Experience camping in a simple and social way.

Our large group tent is unfurnished and offers an authentic camping feel, with space for up to 6 people.

Perfect for families or friends looking for affordable and flexible accommodation in scenic surroundings – without the hassle of setting up or packing down a tent. Bring your sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and other personal belongings. Dogs are welcome too, so the whole family can join.

The tent includes electricity, lighting, and a fan for extra comfort. Outside, you'll find a dining area and a grill.

Eat at the café or bring what you need to cook your own meals. It's about a 2-minute walk to dishwashing facilities, toilet, and shower.

This tent is located slightly inland, surrounded by beautiful nature and just a short walk from the truly spectacular views!

By the cafe; motorhome pitches near the sea and close to all facilities

For many, these are our most popular pitches for motorhomes. On pitches 3 to 12, you must park with the front facing the sea, and on pitches 13–16, you must reverse into the spot. The pitches are located near the café, reception, and service building. These spots are not suitable for caravans. Electricity is included for all pitches.

Boat mooring short-term rental

We have a total of 10 spots at the guest pier: 5 on buoys and 5 in berths. The water leading to Løvøya is relatively shallow, and we encourage you to check your draft. The harbor is not suitable for sailboats. Please refer to the individual spots for details.

Pitches with views and beautiful nature on Løvøya itself

Out on the island, you are always surrounded by beautiful nature and never far from a good viewpoint.

At 'Golden Hill', 'Mamre North', and 'Mamre South', you will find a varied selection of lovely spots! Electricity and access to sanitary buildings are always included in the price when you stay at Løvøya.

Mamre Nord (MN)

At Mamre North, you are located at the outermost part of Løvøya, close to fantastic views and only a few meters away from wonderful nature experiences. The most spectacular spots are Mamre North 22, 29, and 30. It is challenging to turn larger vehicles, so these spots are suitable for smaller motorhomes or car + tent. Mamre North 25 is so spectacular that you can only access it with a regular car and tent. Mamre North 14 is at the highest point and offers a beautiful view. Mamre North 17 is suitable for a small motorhome or car with a tent.

Golden Hill (GH)

The spots at Golden Hill are perfectly located when it's windy, while still being close to both views and beautiful nature. Golden Hill 7 and 8 are great if you are two cars or caravans traveling together. Golden Hill 12 is the last stop before the path to Stormodden, where you can enjoy sun and swimming.

Mamre Sør (MS)

Mamre South is a bit secluded, but still 'right in the heart of it'. Several of the spots are suitable if you are traveling with a group and want to create a small village for a few days. Read the information under the different spots for details.

Sanitary Buildings

Out at Mamre North, there is a small sanitary building with toilets.

Between Mamre South and Golan, there is a larger sanitary building with showers and toilets (HC).

Golan

In the "Golan" area, you are surrounded by beautiful nature, great views, and sunshine. Golan is located on the south side of Løvøya. Some would say that pitches 2 and 3 are the best because they are situated at the highest point with the best views. Others might prefer pitches 20 to 25, as they are even more sheltered. We can’t decide which ones are the best because we love them all! Electricity is included for all pitches.

Find views, sea, and peaceful moments in Kirkebukta

In Kirkebukta, you will find beautiful views, the sea, and peaceful moments. Kirkebukta is situated in a lovely little valley behind the chapel, stretching from the rear of the chapel across the green grass all the way down to the water. On pitches 9 and 12, you have an exclusive view directly out over the Oslo Fjord. Please note that pitch 8 is not suitable for vehicles exceeding 6 meters. Electricity is included for all pitches.

Drasund

A full overview and a spot by the sea at Drasund. In the Drasund area, you face directly out towards the water. Here you can relax and watch everything going on around you. The pitches are beautifully situated on grass, and you park with the front of your vehicle facing the sea. From here, you have a view of the café, the playground, and the boat docks. Electricity is included for all pitches.

Tent sites for hiker tents up to 2 people, tents up to 5 people, or with a car and larger tents like a Lavvu for up to 5 people.

We have some sites that can be reserved directly and a number of sites that are assigned upon arrival and as needed. Note that you can also book a 24-hour spot for a motorhome/caravan at a corresponding price.

Furulund – Sheltered pitches in scenic surroundings

At Furulund, you can enjoy camping life in a beautiful area surrounded by majestic pine trees. This is by far our most sheltered area, making it a favorite when the wind blows in from the sea. Here you will find lovely terraced pitches that provide a great setting for your stay.

Remember that electricity and access to service buildings are always included in the price when staying with us at Løvøya.

Good to know about Furulund:

Location: Furulund is somewhat secluded, just a short walk away from the busiest areas.
Distance to the nearest service building: 1 to 3 minutes walk.
Distance to reception and café: 5 to 7 minutes walk.
